I lovelovelove Zion so much!! Went to a potluck dinner tonight for the families of kids in confirmation, and it is SO refreshing to hear a pastor talk like Pr. Teichmiller did. He's awesome! The church is awesome, the people are awesome, Landon's awesome... it can't get any awesomer. ;-) Thank the Lord for places like this...

I'm just being lazy ol' me lately, as usual... bought Lynyrd Skynyrd's 30th anniversary CD, Thyrty - it's AWESOME. (Must be the word of the day, eh?) I'm getting addicted to Lynyrd Skynyrd, now. :-P Speaking of CDs, my 48 CD-holder-thingy is one CD shy of being full. And I've also got another 12 CD-holder-thingy full of CDs I've burned... I'm a musicaholic. And I need more CD-holder-thingys!! Can everybody say "Wal-Mart trip!"? :-P I also want the Batman Begins soundtrack. Because, oh-em-gee, James Newton Howard AND Hans Zimmer did the music!! That's, like, sock-rocking awesome! My two favorite soundtrack composer dudes...

Been talking to the Mop a lot lately. *waves to Mark* I got him hooked on Coldplay, and in the process my passion for them has been renewed. So in my 5 CD changer stereo system I have the two Lynyrd Skynyrd Thyrty CDs, Parachutes, A Rush of Blood to the Head and X&Y. w00t!

Oh yeah, and get this - Mark's a German Lutheran in southeast Texas, right? But we're NOT RELATED. How weird is that?! There's actually German Lutherans in southeast Texas that I'm not related to! ;-)

The youngins (Matthew and Aaron) didn't drive me insane, and we actually saved enough brownies to send home to Andrew! So yay. ;-) We played Halo 2, of course, and Bekah, Matthew and Aaron played poker. I think Matthew won... he's a good bluffer. ;-P

So okay, that's all I can think of to blog about... if I forgot something important, somebody remind me. ;-) This is Lynea the Happy Packsquirrel, saying PANTS and goodnight!

I live this life 'til this life won't let me live here anymore
Then I will walk, yes, I will walk
With patience through that open door
I have no fears, angels follow me wherever I may go
I live this life 'til this life won't let me live here anymore
Um... again, not much has happened. :-P I've been feeling kinda icky - can't sleep, not hungry, braindead, etc. I hope I'm not coming down with something...

BUT bell choir started yesterday, WOOHOO! :-D I love bells so much. And the Zion choir people are really nice. Bekah and I also decided to join regular choir, and they're nice too. ;-) I'm alto and she's soprano.

Went for a walk on the bayou with Laddie today... now he smells and my feet are dirty. We both need baths. I'll get mine tonight and he'll get his... next week. ;-)

That's about it... The Boys (or, Matthew and Aaron, at least) are coming down on Saturday, so that'll be fun! Andrew has to puppy-sit. Meh. Hopefully the youngins won't drive me insane. ;-)

I'm going to see Big & Rich and Gretchen Wilson in concert on November 4th!!!!! :-D OH EM GEE. I'm like so excited. I'm having to part with almost $30 to go, but... hey. It's a concert and it's BIG & RICH AND GRETCHEN WILSON. How could I not go. ;-) Me, Bekah2, Lauren and Hanna and maybe a couple other people are going... so it'll be awesome!!

Okay, that's all I can think of, so... to wrap up this rambling and probably slightly incomprehensible post with the almighty post-wrapper-upper...

PANTS! :-D

EDIT: I posted at the SAME EXACT TIME tonight as I did three nights ago. Freakified, dudes!

Move Along

When all you got to keep is strong
Move along, move along like I know you do
And even when your hope is gone
Move along, move along just to make it through
I don't typically like the All-American Rejects, but this song is just... awesome. I dunno why either. ;-)

Sooo not much has happened... again... But I've been commissioned by Landon (youth guy at Zion) to spread the word about Lutherans in God's Word (LiGW). It's... well, just go see the website. ;-)
http://www.ligw.org Mainly the sermons section, I think he said. Stupid bad short-term memory...

You know, I love my students, but sometimes it bugs me that they're so dang disorganized. :-P I went over to their house today for lessons, and both the boys were gone to the dentist to get their cavities filled. So it was just Sarah, AGAIN. And she hadn't practiced at all. Sigh... I hope my new students are more motivated, and remember which days are piano days. :-P

So my computer needs a new CPU fan, Nathan made me want a Nintendo DS (just so I can play Nintendogs!), I want a digital camera and now I think I wanna go read. PANTS, y'all!

In my field of paper flowers
And candy clouds of lullaby
I lie inside myself for hours
And watch my purple sky fly over me

Swallowed up in the sound of my screaming
Cannot cease for the fear of silent nights
Oh how I long for the deep sleep dreaming
The goddess of imaginary light
Not much has happened over the past couple days... just school stuff mainly. Zion has a Wednesday night Bible study which is TOTALLY awesome that mom and I have been going to (everybody else has stuff going on) - next week, choir and confirmation also start up, and they're on Wednesdays, too. So Hanna'll go to confirmation, then there's supper, then Bible study and Bell choir, then regular choir, and then we go home! I can't wait to start bells again. :-D

I had a spur-of-the-moment desire to re-read Exodus by Leon Uris. For the, what, 4th? 5th time? Whatever it is... dang it's a good book. It's about the birth of the state of Israel in 1948.

I've rediscovered braiding my hair lately... I took a shower at 10:30 the other night, and braided my hair (otherwise it makes me even colder at night). So I got up in the morning, and left the (somewhat disheveled) braid in my hair all day. I forgot how nice it is to have really long hair out of the way like that. ;-) Not that I don't like my long hair - I love it! But it is nice to have it pulled back and not requiring maintenance for once. ;-P It's probably not the best thing to do to thin hair like mine, but oh well...

Tomorrow is Rally Day at Zion after late service! They're having a big lunch thing (which mom already got recruited to help do, haha) and I think they're gonna recognize the new members. Yay. ;-P Then after that, at 5, we're going to Papadeaux for my Na Na's birthday. And then we're coming home for torte and presents. I LOVE torte. It's like the bestest dessert evar, except maybe ice cream.

So! Busy day tomorrow... then school next week and piano lessons Monday and yeah. Regular ol' stuff. PANTS, y'all! :-D

It's songs about me
And who I am
Songs about loving and living
And good hearted women and family and God
Yeah they're all just
Songs about me
Songs about me
Yay Trace Adkins! Here's your promised blog, Hididi. ;-)

Okay so. A lot has happened. (That could possibly be the understatement of the year...)

Pookie has come and gone, we've transferred from Our Savior Lutheran to Zion Lutheran, started school again, Hanna's turned 13 and I broke up with Tim.

... wait, what? Yeah. I broke up with Tim... suffice to say, I'm not going to Maryland and I'm not getting married in two years. I'm not going to type out all the bloody details here, but basically... we don't have anything in common anymore (except for being Lutheran and homeschooled), and there was a lot of... unsolvable issues. It just wasn't working...
Don't worry about me, though, I'm okay... I actually feel more relieved than anything.

Other than that! Um... life marches on. I mentioned we started school... well, Bekah and Hanna did. I sorta did - I'm doing consumer math, history (I will never NOT do history! ;-)) finishing chemistry and also doing this home economics course my mom found. I'm having fun. :-D

We transferred to Zion, finally, officially!! YAY! :-D Our transfer went through in literally two days. We were shocked. ;-) I love Zion. It's just so... different from what we were used to, in a veryvery good way.

Here's my current books, just because I feel like listing them:
Hammer of God - Bo Giertz
Why Is Feminism So Hard To Resist? - Paul Harris
Bismark - A. J. P. Taylor
Plus history reading. Once I'm done with Hammer of God, which I almost am, I'll be plunging back into War and Peace! Yay! Hopefully THIS time I'll finish it, haha.

So, that's about all I have to blog about for now... I'll try to start blogging every other day again, so Hididi gets her fix. ;-) PANTS!
