'Tis the gift to be simple, 'tis the gift to be free,
'Tis the gift to come down where you ought to be,
And when we find ourselves in the place just right,
'Twill be in the valley of love and delight.
When true simplicity is gain'd,
To bow and to bend we shan't be asham'd,
To turn, turn will be our delight,
Till by turning, turning we come round right.
I watched President Obama's inauguration on my computer at work on Tuesday (streamed it from Fox News) with our church school's kindergarten class. I have to say, John Williams' arrangement of Simple Gifts was the best part. (Heh, heh.) I love Simple Gifts...

Newsletter Week (cue screams of terror) turned out to be not so bad, but not perfect either. I still ended up staying at work half an hour late to finish printing the last page, but it was my fault this time since I watched the inauguration all morning. I did, however, get it all finished today and ready to go to the post office in the morning, which is pretty much a record. I love my ladies that come and put it together for me! They help out SO much. Church ladies are awesome!

One of my favorite things about Wednesdays is the drive to Tomball. It's 45 minutes one way, and the way I go (2854 to 149 to 249, for those that know the area) is GORGEOUS. FM 2854 and Highway 149 are pretty much tree-lined the whole way, with breaks for ranches and the occasional nice subdivision. The speed limit on both 2854 and 149 is 60 mph, also, which is incredibly nice. Great for the gas mileage! I usually set the cruise and blast my iPod the whole way. I've discovered that I sing best in the truck. Nobody's listening and I can play my music as loud as I want and sing as loud as I want and no one will care.

I can't wait until we get a house for that reason... no wall-sharing neighbors to worry about! I'm a loud-music fan, so it's been a self-control-building experience living in an apartment. Cleaning is not nearly as fun without loud music! I've solved that, though, by toting my iPod around and using headphones... but that's also kind of scary since I can't hear the door that way.

Hi, my name is Lynea, and I'm a puzzle addict.

I have a LOT of puzzles. So many that my husband is peeved that they take up so much space in our extra closet. My dear mother bought me a card table (it's BLUE!) so I can do puzzles without hogging the kitchen table. (Actually, I have her to blame for the addiction - she got me started.)

So, I got an awesome Texas puzzle from mom (duh) for Christmas, and I'm working on it now. It's 1,000 pieces, which will only fit on my table when it's complete, so mom also got me a special puzzle board that I put the pieces on and put it on the kitchen table while I'm working, and place it on top of the card table when I'm done working. It's a really nifty system that will now allow me do to 1,000 peice puzzles! Yay!

I think I'll post pictures of each puzzle as I do it on my blog. They're really cool and you should see them, yes.
